Solution 1: Force restart

  • First turn off your MAC.
  • Wait for a few seconds and press power button.

Solution 2: Reset PRAM / NVRAM

Step 1: First turn off your MAC.

Step 2: Press the power button to turn on your Mac

Step 3: Then immediately press  and hold the option + command + P+R keys simultaneously as quickly as possible after pressing the power button.

Step 4: Keep pressing those keys until you hear the start up sound for second time.

Step 5: Wait for some time. It may take 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 6: Now your Mac will restart normally.

Solution 3: Restart your MAC in safe Mode

Step 1: Turn off your MAC.

Step 2: Press the power button to turn on your Mac.

Step 3: press and hold the shift key immediately after pressing the power button.

Step 4: You can see the apple logo on the screen don’t leave the shift key when you see the apple logo.

Step 5: Keep pressing the shift key until you see the login window and then enter the password to log in you may need to login twice if while Walt is turned on.

Solution 4: Reset SMC

If your Mac has non removable battery

Step 1: Shutdown your Mac by pressing the power button.

Step 2: But I said hold the shift + control + option + power button simultaneously.

Step 3: Then release the keys at the same time.

Step 4: Press the power button to turn on your Mac.

If your Mac has a removable battery

Step 1: Remove the battery out of your Mac.

Step 4: After that Mac OS utilities window will appear with four options tap disc Utility.

Step 5: Tap Continue.

Step 6: Select the disc or drive that you want to repair.

Step 7: Select first aid>run. This action will check the disk for errors.

Step 8: Click done and close disk utility.

Step 9: Restart your Mac via apple menu>restart.

Solution 6 : Reinstall Mac OS

Step 1: Turn off your MAC

Step 2: Press the power button to turn on your Mac.

Step 3: Press and hold the command plus are key simultaneously as soon as possible after pressing the power button.

Step 4: Keep pressing command + R keys until the apple logo appears.

Step 5: After that Mac OS utilities window will appear with four options tap reinstall Mac OS.

Step 6: Tap continue full

Step 7: You will be promoted to choose your hard disc hard drive. If you are not asked to select your disc tab show all discs. You may need to enter your Apple ID.

Step 8: Tap install wait until the installation process completed.

Step 9: Your Mac will restart after completing the installation.
