How to Enable WIFI Adapter Windows 11 Laptop or Desktop Computer

If you are having wifi connectivity issues on your windows 11 laptop or computer and if there are any temporary software or windows 11 updates or wifi adaptor issues, when you disable and enable wifi adaptor, then wifi issues can be resolved if issue is minor and in windows 11 OS enabling and disabling wifi adaptor is different to windows 10 Operating system.

If the wifi option is disabled on your windows 11 computer then you will see the globe symbol on your windows 11 taskbar and you need to enable wifi and connect to your wifi network.

Step 3: Scroll down and click on Advanced Network Settings to view All network adaptors

Step 4: Under Network Adaptors you will see wifi option and next to wifi option you will see Enable or Disable option (if wifi adapter is enabled it will show enable and if wifi adaptor is disabled you will see disable).

Step 5: To enable wifi adaptor on windows 11 -> next to wifi under network settings -> Click on Enable and Enable wifi Adaptor on your windows 11 computer.

To disable the wifi adapter on windows 11, your wifi adapter should be enabled or else you will not see the enable option but you will see the disable option when you go to the wifi network adapter option on windows 11 computer.

Step 1: Click on windows logo and type settings and open windows 11 settings

Step 2: On left side menu -> Click on Network and Internet

Step 3: Click on Advanced Network Settings

Step 4: Click on Disable option next to WIFI under network settings and disable wifi adapter on windows settings.
