Go to Classic Gmail
This message could not be sent to check your network type error only affected by some users who started using the new gmail interface. To overcome this type of error in gmail switch to the old classic gmail interface. So, here are some steps for it.

Step 2: Next on home page, tap on settings which is available on the top right corner

Step 4: After this the gmail will available in old classic gmail interface

Disable Chrome Extension
Sometimes third-party google chrome extension will also leads to this type of errors. So, try to disable chrome extensions
Step 1: Firstly, open chrome and tap on menu
Step 2: Now tap on more tools followed by extensions
Step 3: Next, select the extension which you want to disable and tap on small blue color switch to disable the extension
Reset Chrome
