How to Delete Apps on Apple Watch

By using an Apple watch you can listen to music and other content you want to store in it. But the storage varies from series to series like 32GB, 16GB, 8GB etc. While you install third party apps on your phone, Sometimes they automatically install apps on Apple watch. You can manage Apple watch apps directly by using the watch app on your phone.

Depending on these watch series and amount of content you downloaded, it would automatically run on Low space. It shows how much space is used by the apps and you need to delete some apps on your watch.

Delete Apps on Apple Watch Using Wrist

Step 1: Long press on the digital crown on Apple watch to bring up the app view.

Step 2: If you are using list view, swipe left across the app that you want to remove.

Step 3: If you are using grid view, click and hold until you will see jiggle mode and then press ‘X’ in the top corner of the app and to confirm click on “delete app”.

Once Check Storage in Watch apps:

Step 1: Check the amount of storage on your phone by opening watch apps on your phone.

Step 2: Open your watch app, go in general and click on it. In general, navigate to “about” and wait for a few seconds.

Step 3: It shows the total number of songs, photos and external apps of the device. It also displays total capacity and available amount of space.

How to Delete Apps on Apple Watch?

if you are running out of space then you need to delete media files from like music and photos and free up your space on your apple watch.

Delete Apps using iPhone:

Step 1: Install the iOS watch app on your iPhone.

Step 2: Click on “my watch” in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Step 3: Drag down “ installed apple watch” and click on the app you want to uninstall.

Step 4: Click on toggle switch to show the app on apple watch to the grey off position.
