How to Retrieve WIFI Password on Mac Using Terminal

Step 1: Open command space bar and type terminal and click on enter 

Step 2: Now you need to execute the first command -> networksetup -listnetworkserviceorder and then press return key then you can see the wifi.

Step 3: Now you can execute the second command -> networksetup -getairportnetwork en0 and press return key then you can see the wifi network name.

Step 4: After that you can execute next command -> networksetup -listallnetworkservices and press return key then you can see the wifi 

Step 5:After that  you can execute command -> networksetup -getinfo wi-fi and press return key then you can see the ip address and router.

Step 6: Now you can give security command -> security find-generic-password -ga “network name” and press return key 

Step 7: Enter your username and password and click on allow then you can see the password and username in your mac terminal.
