Turn off airplane mode and turn on Again

Restart your iPad to fix Unable to connect Smart keyboard

Step 1: Remove smart keyboard on your iPad

Step 2: Now, press and hold the power button on top of your iPad until you see a slide to power off on your ipad screen.

Step 3: Once you see the slide to power off -> slide over it and wait for your iPad to restart.
