For sharing screen in order to view various contents at a time and cast screen, multi View is a handy feature and tap view is also used to share screen. While tap view allows us to mirror our phone with tv in just a one tap, and multiple help to provide endless ways to split screen in order to view multiple favourites contents at a time. 

How to Tap Phone to Mirror on Samsung Tv

Whenever you want to share contents including videos, photos from your phone to the tv. With this you can view your contents easily, fastest, and more conveniently. This feature will help you to mirror your without any need of a Wi-Fi network.

Steps to Set Up Tap View

For setting the tap view on your tv from your phone, you need to open smart things app on phone.

Step 1: Firstly, open the smart things app on your phone, and click on menu icon.

Step 2: Now go to settings, next click on tap view. For this just tap the switch to turn it on

Step 3: After that bring your phone closer to tv, and next click the allow phone presence detection notification, after it appears on your mobile screen

Caution for using tap view

You need to tap gently, in order to avoid damage of the device. If you want to avoid this damage follow the steps.

•  Don’t tap on the tv screen and corners mainly
• Simply tap lightly on outer frame

Multi View

Multi view helps us to view all the contents simultaneously on your tv. On splitter screen you can watch your favourite contents, from different sources including tv tuner, STB and blue-ray.

Types of Screen in Multi View 

Mobile Screen

If you mirror a smart phone, you can watch mirrored contents including messages, videos, photos for copying them on large screen.

PIP screen

In order to watch interesting contents on small screen, you can use picture in picture (PIP) feature. To watch sports or movies.

Steps to switch to full screen

If you want to switch to full screen, choose one of the multi view screen and press select button

• With this you can control the sources ad apps
• If we want to return to previous multi screen, Now press and hold back key on your remote control

Different ways to use multi view

• Select contents which is displayed on right or left side of the screen
• By using screen mirror or smart view button, you can cast your phone contents to tv.
• Next, adjust your both screen sizes to improve viewing experience 
• After that choose picture in picture feature for adjusting main screen
• Now select your sound output
• Finally, select sound distribution option to listen the audio from both screens at a time.
