How to Connect my Bose to Samsung Smart TV

  • You can connect Bose speakers to your Samsung Smart TV by using HDMI port cable, Bluetooth, auxiliary cable with ease.

Bose soundbar has a variety of high quality sound systems for home entertainment along with Samsung smart TV and can be paired using several methods. Basically, cable connection is used but wireless Bluetooth connection is also an option of the new Samsung TV.

Ports and Cables

1) First choose the port options to which cable fits a bet. And cables are purchased separately.

2) The most and best common option of connection is “HDMI cable” because it is a digital cable connection and also delivers crisp audio.

3) Another option is “optical cable” which also has a clear digital sound. These cables are  most commonly used for Blu Ray, Xbox System, cable boxes, and other exterior devices. It is an easy option for linking more Bose speakers to TV.

4) Last, “auxiliary cable” is also used to connect speakers. This cable can connect the phone to car stereos and any device with basic audio Jack.

5) The HDMI, optical cable, auxiliary cable provides better quality and it is some old style. But wireless Bluetooth is an advanced option for connecting Bose soundbar systems.

Making Connections

HDMI:

1) First turn Off the TV and Bose speaker  and connect the HDMI cable to the respective HDMI ports of the TV.

2) HDMI “IN PORT” to the Bose speaker  and “OUT PORT” to TV.

3) Then Turn on the TV and soundbar and choose “Source”, then “function”.

Optical Cable

1) Connect one end of the “optical out” port to the TV. And other to “digital Audio” to Bose speakers.

2) Tap on the “Source”  button on the speaker and then select the “digital in” option to set up the cable.

3) Finally, enter the audio settings on TV and select the external speaker option on speaker output.

Auxiliary Cable

1) The sound quality of auxiliary cable is lacking compared with digital cable but it is an easy way to connect.

2) Connect the cable to “Aux out” to the Bose speaker and “audio out” to TV.

3) Select source option on Bose remote and select Aux to finalize sound connection.

4) Now turn on the TV sound and it will play through the Bose speaker system.

Bluetooth Connection

Bluetooth connection is good because it is a wireless connection and is used temporarily for avoiding hard wired connection. But Bluetooth don’t have high quality sound with digital cable connection.

1) Select the pairing button on Bose speaker and go for menu to locate it.

2) Choose Sources then connection guide. Select the speaker from the displayed list for connection to finalize the pairing.

3) The Bose Bluetooth connection makes it possible to pair other devices like mobiles or music streaming devices.

4) The flexibility provided by Bluetooth is multiple devices are operated with same speaker.
