How do I Connect Samsung Soundbar to Samsung smart TV

You have brought a new high resolution Samsung smart Tv and you want to connect it with a high quality audio system to watch movies, web series, YouTube or something else. So, by connecting Samsung sound bar will provide a high quality of sound. It is extremely versatile and easy to set up.

So, for better audio quality more than a speaker, connect Samsung sound bar to Samsung smart TV. Sometimes you may feel connecting a soundbar to a smart Tv is a headache. To make this process easy there are few ways to connect your soundbar to smart Tv through HDMIauxiliary cable, digital optical cable and Bluetooth.

HDMI(High-Definition Multimedia Interface):

Step 1: Using HDMI is a primary source and best way for connecting a Samsung sound bar to a Samsung smart Tv.

Step 2: It will deliver perfect digital audio and high resolution supporting and advanced technology like Dolby digital etc.

Step 3: Turn off both devices and identify the HDMI port on both devices. And continue plugging one end of one cable to HDMI “out” port to sound bar and another HDMI port to smart Tv.

Step 4: After successfully plugged in, turn on both devices and change sources to HDMI. Press “source” and “function”. Choose “HDMI” afterward.

Step 5: Switch to any music videos or songs etc. And enjoy the sound bar system.

Digital Optical Cable

Step 1: First you have to identify the ports of both devices and insert the optical cable in it.

Step 2: Connect optical “out” port to TV and “in” port to your Samsung sound bar.

Step 3: Press the home button, go for settings and then speakers. Change speaker output on your TV to external sources.

Auxiliary cable:

Step 1: Connect one end to “aux in” on sound bar and other end to “aux out” on smart TV.

Step 2: After connection press “source” button on sound bar and press “aux mode”.

Bluetooth connection:

Step 1: Bluetooth does not match quality of HDMI but convenient of connection is easy. Turn on Bluetooth and pair up sound bar with Bluetooth by pressing relative button on remote.

Step 2: On smart TV, go to home then settings and in that select sound.

Step 3: Tap  on sound output and select Bluetooth speakers list.

Step 4: When Tv detects a nearby sound bar and paired sound bar will appear on TVs Bluetooth device list.

 Note: you can control sound bar volume levels using Samsung remote and set sound bar system sound according to particular content.

  • Select  sound output on TV and locate sound bar. Now you will be able to navigate sound bar settings with remote. It will automatically control the sound by default.
