How to Setup Roku Stream Bar

  • First Make sure your tv supports roku before starting to setup roku stream bar and connecting roku stream bar.

You can directly connect your Roku stream bar to TV to stream shows, movies with an amazing sound from the in-built TV tuner. Connect your TV to the internet and complete the setup process and you can connect roku to alexa, connect airpods to roku as well. Streambar includes an enhanced point with remote anywhere by using power and volume buttons, voice search and control. 

Will Roku Support My TV

Roku Stream bar can work with any TV with an available HDMI PORT by  simplifying your connections. Using HDMI port on your TV or ARC port you can get audio from your TV to Stream bar and these port you don’t need any extra connections.

ARC uses a single HDMI cable to send streaming video from Streambar to TV and audio from back to Streambar. If you dont have any ARC port, you can still stream your ROKU stream bar, by connecting a second cable. In addition to HDMI cable, you have to connect optical cable to optical port output. It may labelled as digital output or digital audio out.

If you want to use this optical port, go for the settings on your TV to check your output is active or enabled.

Where should I Install My Roku Streambar

 It should be placed at centre with TV screen to get the best sound picture. If you want to simplify then place it on a furniture infront of TV directly mount it on wall to the TV.

No obstructions:

No objects should present infront of Stream bar I.e., any picture frames, ornament, any toys or objects etc., by these obstructions high frequencies dialogue are affected instead of low frequencies.

Mount it: 

If you dont have any place to locate it on furniture, then consider mounting it on Roku Stream bar.

Match front edge:

When placing your Roku stream bar on furniture, the front edge of strembar should be clean at any TV shelf, Table. If it set back is far away from flat surface of front edge, sound will reflect.

Avoid Enclosing

Avoid closed space for placing stream bar like cabinet or TV stand. If you have any better place, ensure that front edge of your Roku streambar is free.

How to Setup and Connect Roku Stream Bar

After identification of arc port  and ensure that ARC port is enabled on your TV and follow the below steps to set up Roku stream bar:

Step 1: Connect Roku stream bat to wall outlet, surge protection or extension cord and use including power cable.

Step 2: With premium high speed HDMI cable, connect your streambar to ARC port on your TV.

Step 3: If you are not using any Arc, then use high speed premium HDMI cable to connect your Stream bar to available HDMI port.

Step 4: After the connections are made and streambar power on, make sure that correct input is selected in your TV.

Step 5: After that you will see a Roku logo on tour screen and then followed by initial setup on screen.

Step 6: If you don’t see any logical on your screen, use your TV remote and double check that correct input is selected.

Step 7: The remaining setup process may varies depend upon on type of Roku streambar is connected to TV.

Step 8: If you have Roku TV, then you may able to complete the setup process very easily.
