If you are having a google Chromecast and you want to factory reset and its very easy to do and its pretty straight forward process and you may want to do a factor reset Chromecast if you are having issues or if you want to erase data and you can factory reset by using more than a few different methods by using Chromecast device or Google Home app.

Step 1: Hold down your google assistant and say factory reset and it will bring up the instructions to factory reset

Step 2: Grab your Chromecast and there will be a button and every time you press the button on Chromecast the light gets changed from white to orange.

Step 3:  Press and hold button on Chromecast for 10 seconds.

Step 1: Turn on your smart tv and select you profile and click on settings.

Step 2: Now, Select system and press ok.

Step 3: Navigate to About section -> click on factory reset.

That’s it, once you click on reset, Chromecast will perform factory reset action.

Step 1: Navigate to apps section on your smart tv and open Google Home APP.

Step 4: Click on factory reset.
