Google Page Level Algorithm

Page Rank algorithm is used by Google and other search engines to determine the page value and it depends on plenty of factors like information on the webpage, ads, related topics and internal links and many other factors.

Improvement of Page level Algorithm:

In 2012 in Google ongoing effort to help users to find more Quality websites to search in search results google rolled out an algorithmic change.

This algorithmic change looks at the layout of the webpage and the amount of the content users see on the page users click on a result. A Ad-heavy page Where users struggle to find the actual content on the page.

As said earlier by Google “Google May Penalize Ad-Heavy Page“. Things that really matter is how much content is above the fold. Dont let your ad Obscuring your content.

This suggest that this is not part of the Panda algorithm or that it might be made a separate and more specific algorithm in the works.

What if Your Hit by this Ad-Heavy Page:

And if you decide you are hit with this Algorithm and trying to fix your ads this will not effect immediately , just make changes and wait for few weeks as the Google Bot re-crawls your webpage, the page layout algorithm automatically reflect the changes.

And how long this depends on the several factors, this including the number of pages on your site and how efficiently Googlebot can crawl the content. On a typical web it may take several weeks for Google Bot to crawl and process enough pages to reflect changes on the website.

This Algorithmic cahange affects noticably in less than 1% of the searches globally. This means less than one in 100 searches a typical user might notice a reordering of results on a page search.
