Chrome Cast Not Working on Mi TV After Update
Due to the low price, Xiaomi’s Mi TV ‘s are very famous and most popularly used in India . The first Mi TV was launched in the year 2018 . It comes with an android version and has a patch wall. Later in 2019 and 2020 the Mi TV’s started updating their android versions which raised an issue of not working the mi TV after update.
When you try to connect your mi tv to chromecast and it doesn’t connect then here there is a solution to fix this issue and after update chromecast will not work or stops working on mi tv, below are the details how to fix chromecast on mi tv.
Step 1: Turn on TV and go to settings on the gear icon which is on the right side.
Step 2: Under settings , from the list of options provided select Apps
Step3: Under apps section select on “See all apps” and from all the apps you select system apps.
Step 4: Under System apps section go to Chrome cast android shell and click on it.
Step 5: Now in chrome cast android shell section there you can observe two options that says clear data and clear cache. you have to clear the both.
You will get a confirmation pop-up before you clear cache and data click on ok and clear cache and data again and again until it is completely cleared.

Step 1: Turn on your Mi tv -> Unplug power cable ( disconnect cables)
Step 2: Wait for 30 seconds and insert power cable and turn your Mi tv.
Now, go ahead and try connecting with chromecast on Mi tv.
Step 1: Turn off your router and wait for 10 seconds and leave router alone for 10 seconds and turn router on and connect chrome cast to Mi tv.
Now that your Chrome cast is ready. Now you can enjoy mirroring services even after updating.
If your Chromecast is not working on mi box then make sure that you are connected to wifi internet and having good WIFI internet signal and reset your router or modem and connect your mi box to interent.
