Why iPhone 15, 14, 13 Can’t Hear Caller in Received Calls on iOS 14.4 or later

If you can’t hear the caller on received calls or the person who called you can’t hear all of sudden then make sure that your ear piece is not blocking or filled with dust or anything and disconnect Bluetooth and your iPhone may be connected to other Bluetooth devices.

This is due to dust or debris stuck inside earpiece or microphone and if you are using case cover or protector case then remove and clean dust and then check.

Solution 1 :- Turn on and Turn OFF Airplane Mode

Step 1: To do this, open the settings app.

Step 2: Enable airplane mode and wait for a minute.

Step 3: Then disable airplane mode.

Solution 2 :- Turn off Bluetooth 

If your iPhone is connected to a Bluetooth device, you can’t hear the caller. Make sure that Bluetooth is turned off.

Step 1: To do this, open settings app.

Step 2: Tap on Bluetooth.

Step 3: If Bluetooth is turned on, turn off it.

Solution 3 :- Restart your iPhone 

Step 1: Tap on settings icon from the home screen.

Step 2: Next tap on General.

Step 3: Scroll down and tap shut down.

Step 4: Now turn off your iphone by dragging the slide to power off slider to right side. Then wait for 30 seconds and turn it on back.

Solution 4 :- Turn OFF iPhone Noise Cancellation 

Step 1: Go to settings app on your iphone.

Step 2: Find and tap on accessibility.

Step 3: Then tap on audio/visual.

Step 4: Now turn off phone noise cancellation if it’s turned on.

Solution 5 :- Reset Network Settings 

Resetting the Network settings will reset your wifi networks and passwords, APN & VPN settings and cellular settings.

Step 1: Go to settings app on your iphone.

Step 2: Find and tap on General.

Step 3: Now scroll down to bottom and tap on reset.

Step 4: Here tap on reset network settings.

Step 5: Next enter your iphone passcode.

Step 6: In the pop – up window, tap reset network settings to conform this process.

Solution 6 :- Force Restart Your iPhone 

For iPhone 8 , 10 , 11 and 12 series on iPhone is the second generation :

  1. First, quickly press and release the volume up button .
  2. Then quickly press and release the volume down button.
  3. Finally press and  hold the side button until the apple logo appears.

For iPhone 7 and 7 plus:

Press and hold the sleep or wake button and volume down button at the same time until you see the apple logo.

For iPhone 6s plus and earlier models

Press and hold the home button and side our power button at the same  time until you see the apple logo .

Solution 7 :- Update your iphone to latest version of iOS 

Step 1: Make sure that your Iphone is connected to wifi . Then go to settings app.

Step 2: Scroll doen and tap on General.

Step 3: Next tap on software update.

Step 4: If an iOS update is available, tap download and install.
