How to fix Allow Apps to Request to Track Grayed Out in Settings

All Apps you Request to Track setting  is disabled in the following situations.

Step 1: If you are a child or under age 18 and signed in with your Apple ID, this option won’t work and it will be disabled.

Step 2: If your Apple ID is managed by an educational institution, this option won’t work.

Step 3:  If your Apple ID was created in last 3 days, you can’t do anything with this setting and it will be greyed out.

You are over 18 and your Apple ID is not used by an any educational institution and your Apple ID was created before 3 days, but Allow Apps to Request to Track is disabled means, then following troubleshooting tips will help you to fix this issue.

Tip 1: Reset All Settings

Step 1: First, open the Settings app on your iPhone.

Step 2: Then scroll down to “General” and tap it.

Step 3: After that, scroll down to “Reset” and tap it.

Step 4: Here select “Reset All Settings“.

Step 5: Then enter your Passcode and Screen Time Passcode.

Step 6: Select “Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box.

Step 7: Again select “Reset All Settings” in the pop-up box to confirm.

Step 8: Wait until your iPhone restarts.

Step 9: Now Allow Apps to Request to Track setting should work fine.

Tip 2 : Sign Out of Apple ID

Step 1: First make sure that your iPhone is connected to the Internet (Cellular Data/Wi-Fi).

Step 2: Then launch Settings app. Here tap on your Apple ID banner.

Step 3: Then tap “Sign Out”.

Step 4: After that, enter your Apple ID Password and then tap “Turn Off” at the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 5: Then follow the onscreen instructions to sign out of Apple ID.

Step 6: Now check whether “Allow Apps to Request to Track” is working or not.

Tip 3 :- Remove Gmail Account

  1. First, launch Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Then scroll down to “Mail” and Tap it.
  3. Here tap “Accounts”.
  4. After that, tap “Gmail”.
  5. Here tap “Delete Account”.
  6. Then select “Delete From My iPhone” in the pop-up box to confirm.
  7. Now check whether “Allow Apps to Request to Track” setting is working or not.
