okay so you have a Samsung Galaxy s7 basically have an issue with your camera every time you open up your camera you’re getting an error message and it says the warning camera failed on Galaxy s7. Galaxy s7 camera failed can be fixed easily on your own. Well I’m going to give you five options of what you can do right now to get that up and running and by the end of this  at least 90% of you should have your camera up and running now.

How to fix Galaxy S7 Camera Failed

I’m only going to be using the Samsung Galaxy S7 so Follow the below solutions.

Solution 1: Clear Data of Camera APP

Step 1: First up scroll down you want to click on your Settings go into your Settings.

Step 2: Then from here you want to scroll down and you want to go into Applications

Step 3: And then you want to click on Application manager

Step 4: Now under All applications what you want to do is you want to scroll down and look for Camera everything here will be in alphabetical order look for camera make sure you see the camera icon click on it.

Step 5: And you want to click on stop -> Clear data and then tap on clear .

Step 6: Now from here what you want to do is go ahead and Reboot your phone.

Step 7: Once you take your phone backup click on the Camera app and make sure your camera is working and if it’s not we’re going to go to solution 2.

Solution 2: Turn off Smart Stay

Step 1: Basically you need to make sure that your smart stay is off. Now  scroll down again click on go into your Settings and from here what you want to do is you want to go down to Display and then Smart stay right here so click on Smart stay.

Step 2: Next Reboot your phone once your phone is back up, open up the Camera app and hopefully your camera is working. If it’s not we’re going to go to the third solution.

Solution 3: Wipe Cache Partition

Step 1: Go ahead and first power off your phone and what we’re going to do here is we are going to wipe the cache partition. This is it going to delete any of your photos or videos that you don’t need. It’s going to delete your temporary files I call them junk files.

Step 2: So once your phone is off you’ll want to click on press three buttons okay so right now go ahead and press and hold the volume up button press and hold the home button and press and hold the power button.

Step 3: So all three buttons are held down now as soon as you see a logo pop on it.

Step 4: Go ahead and let go and then wait to get into the recovery menu.

Step 5: Give it a second here and another thing to do if you’re wiping the cache partition you can also help if your phone is like lagging.

Step 6:  You know especially if you know going through the screen or was acting sluggish or if you’re having other errors or even if you’re having like battery all sudden you’re having a lot of battery gain issues wiping your cache partition can help your phone instantaneously.

Step 7: So now  you want to do is  go down to it says wipe cache partition okay. So to scroll down you simply tap on the volume down button if you want to scroll up you set you tap on the volume up button .

Step 8: So go down till it says white cache partition and to select it you simply press the power button give it a second.

Step 9:  Later a screen will pop up and it says reboot system now so go ahead and select that so click press the power button get a second wait for it to boot up.

Step 10: And once it’s booted up again what you want to do is you want to open up your camera app and make sure your camera is up and running hopefully. If it  is it is not, we’re going to go to the next solution.

Solution 4: Turn Your Camera App and Check For Damage

In this it would be simply to turn your phone around and you see where all your lens is. What you want to do is keep pressing around the camera just press all around the sides and even give it like some taps around it because especially if you drop your phone you could have dislodged something in here.

I’ll have several of these phones where I simply did this and rebooted the phone

and the camera was backed up and running okay so do that.

And then from here go ahead and reboot the phone and open up the camera app and to see if it’s working okay if it’s not then you may want to try it again try to push around the sides give it like a tap all around it and then restart your phone.

Open up a camera APP again and then hopefully your phone is back up and running now if it’s not we’re going to go to the last solution.

Solution 5: Keep your Galaxy S7 in Safe Mode

This  last solution is basically  to put your phone in safe mode okay.

Step 1: So go ahead and power off your phone.

Step 2: And once your phone is completely powered off what you want to do is you want to hold down two buttons okay so the volume down button and the power button until you see the galaxy logo is  popped.

Step 3: Now  let go the power button and continue to hold down the volume down button and I’m going to continue to hold it down until it’s completely boot back up okay .

Step 4: Now safe mode is basically what it’s going to do is going to disable all the  third-party ads, in other words all the apps that you download it are going to be disabled okay.

Step 5: Now  let go and have a safe boot now because the bottom left-hand corner now it’s possible that there’s an app that is affecting your camera okay.

Step 6: So what you want to do here now is you just want to open up your camera and hopefully your camera right now is up and running okay because this is pretty much the last solution.

Solution 6: Uninstall Last installed App on your Samsung galaxy s7

Before you want to know, go ahead and disassemble your phone or bring it to a repair shop now if your phone is up and running right now then you have an app that is affecting your camera. So what you want to do from here is you want to go ahead and start uninstalling.

  1. So go into your settings again
  2. And then go into your applications
  3.  From there click on application manager.
  4. Under downloaded here now you want to try to remember the last app that you downloaded before you start having issues with your camera okay you can give some couple guesses.
  5. Go ahead and pick on one go ahead and click on uninstall and as soon as

you uninstall it go ahead and reboot your phone once you reboot your phone and you are going to be out of safe mode and then as soon as you put your phone is back up and running open up the camera and see if it’s working does not then it’s possible it’s another app in there so you want to do the same process over go into safe mode and then you want to start understand other apps and do the same process in reboot go back into your camera app and see if it’s up and running so hopefully one of these five steps works for you.
