How to Upgrade your Mac operating system to the Sonoma latest version of macOs

MacOS Sonoma is the latest version. We can upgrade to macOS mixer but before upgrading your MacOs to the latest version you need to backup your Mac Operating system so in case you lose your data in some situation you already have the backup of your Mac Operating system. You need to update your mac if your mac is too old.

Upgrade your Mac operating system to the latest version of macOs

So what we need to do :

1. Just click on your Apple icon.
2. Click on System Preferences.
3. And using this app which is called  time machine you can backup your data into a hard disk which is the external hard disk.
4. And using this app which is called time machine you can backup mac Operating system into external hard disk.

Once you have the backup of your Mac Operating system.

 We are going to Update our Mac Operating system.so once again open your system Preferences window.

Here this time click on Software Update. Which is going to check for the Update for your Mac Operating system

Now you can see that you can upgrade to macOs bigsur. And it going to take 11 to 12 gb of space on your Pc.

Use Software Option on your Mac

1. Click on upgrade now button which is going start the download of this update.
2.   So, Wait  until download is completed. Now the bigsur Update is complete.
3.   Now you are going can see this kind of window which says macOS bigsur.
4. Now click continue here and you will be able to see this kind of license terms and conditions .
5. So, If you want you can read all this license terms and conditions and if you are agree with license terms and conditions.
6. Click agree and then click on agree button once again.
7. Now on the next window you are going to see window which allows you to choose your hard disk just choose the one which you see here.
8. Then give your password.
9. Then just click on blue button.
10. Once you click on blue button you will able to see when your Mac operating system restarts.  

It’s going to restart with a new version of macOs bigsur and when you give your password it is going to show you one kind of window which ask you to provide the analytic’s permissions.

If you don’t want to send any permission so just leave it as default and click on continue here also click on continue and here also choose not now and then click on continue. And once it’s done you are going to see login window after macOs is updated and you can see macOs is now updated to macos 11. 1 version.
