What are Vertebrates and Classification of Vertebrates?

Animal kingdom is divided in to two groups and they are vertebrates and invertebrates, let’s have a deep look in to the anima world how they are divided and what are vertebrates and invertebrates dive in-depth and to look at vertebrate animals and vertebrate information and also differences of vertebrates and invertebrates.

Vertebrates:

The Animals with the back bone are called vertebrates which are additional split into smaller groups Amphibians, Reptiles, Birds and Mammals, Now let’s explore about this vertebrate animals.

Classification of Vertebrates or Categories of Vertebrates:

Vertebrates can live almost everywhere in land and also under water which are cold blooded and warm blooded in animal kingdom. They can live in the deepest ocean, and they can live in the driest desert. They can even survive in the Arctic. There are five categories of vertebrates. List of vertebrates are fish, birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians.

Amphibians:

Frogs and Salamanders are some of the most popular well known amphibian, they are the ones that can live in both water and land and amphibians lay eggs, they are cold-blooded animals and they legs coated in Jelly. They have gills to breathe underwater and have lungs to breathe on land and the soft skin of amphibians allows them to absorb water and air, few examples of Amphibians include frogs, newts and toads.

Reptiles:

Crocodiles and Snakes are examples of Reptiles and their bodies are made up of dry scales, they lay their eggs on land and spend almost all the time underwater and these two are also cold blooded animals and it is only sometimes come on to soak the sun.

Birds:

Sparrows, owls and parrots and etc and bride’s come under special classification or category of vertebrates which have feathers and wings and they feather and wings but not all birds fly. They lay eggs that are hard shell protects the egg from predators and are warm blooded and birds can be found all over the world.

Mammals:

Lions and Pandas are some of the examples of Mammals and they are warm blooded vertebrate animals, they give birth to young ones, mammals babies grow inside of their mother instead of laying eggs, they have lungs to breathe and are warm blooded creatures they are able to live in many parts of world and they have hair or fur on their bodies which keeps them warm, they have special glands to produce milk for their young ones and most of the animals have four limbs which includes hands and legs, even humans are mammals. Apart from humans examples of Mammals are whales, dolphins, lions, dogs, cats etc.

Invertebrates

:

Invertebrates are animals without backbone are called as Invertebrates and they were the first animals to evolve. There are approximately 52000 species of vertebrates so look around and identify what are vertebrates and invertebrates.
