How to Connect Laptop to VIZIO Smart TV Wirelessly and Screen Mirror via Chrome cast, HDMI Cable
You have a vizio smart tv and you are wondering and looking to connect laptop to vizio smart tv wirelessy and want to cast your laptop to vizio smart tv using smartcast and what ever is playing on your computer screen you can mirror content to your vizio smart tv. Follow below steps to connect to smart tv wirelessly simply by using chrome browser.
Before performing this steps make sure you have updated your google chrome browser to the latest version.
Step 1: update your chrome browser to latest version.
Step 2: Make sure that you have connected to the same WIFI both in laptop and your vizio smart tv to cast your laptop to your vizio smart tv.
Note: If you have not connected to the same wifi when you connect laptop to vizio smart tv wirelessly and casting your laptop screen it will not get connected. So make sure that you have connected to the same wifi network.
Step 3: Open chrome browser
Step 4: On top right corner click on the three dots then click cast.
Note: If you are not seeing option of cast then you are not connected to same wifi network (your laptop is connected to different wifi network and your vizio smart tv is connected to different wifi network)
Step 5: Once you click on cast, you will be prompted with available casting devices (available to connect wirelessy) if you see vizio smart tv listed in there, click cast desktop.
Step 6: Now choose your vizio smart tv to connect laptop to vizio smart tv wirelessly and cast it.
Step 7: Once it gets connected you will see your laptop screen on your smart tv wirelessly and automatically without any hustle or facing any problem casting to vizio smart tv.
Step 8: All your content on your laptop, like what ever your brows on your laptop will be seen on your smart tv wirelessly.
Step 9: if you play video, presentation, photos and everything on your laptop it will be played on vizio smart tv wirelessly since it got connected and casted to vizio smart tv.
Step 10: Once you are done click on cast button and click on stop, casting from laptop to your smart tv will get disconnected and it will not be casted what ever you play on your laptop.
Step 11: When ever you want to connect laptop to vizio smart tv wirelessly and want to cast it on your smart tv, just click on cast and it will be visible and gets connected wirelessly and visible on your vizio smart tv.
