Receiving Calls and Texts From Blocked Number
In this article we’re going to read about one serious Software bug which is irritating people, the problem is after Upgrading to iOS 14 they are still receiving some messages and phone calls from the blocked number. We searched for the solutions in the article videos but there is no exact solution for it. After that in some research about this problem we found a solution let’s see.
A Soft Reset is also like the restarting process in iPhone and after doing that you can block the specified phone number from your contact list. Let’s see how you do that.
First, press and hold the Volume up and down button once
And then press the side button, which is also known as the power button until the Apple logo appears.
Once after, you completed that process block that particular number from your contact list.
Make sure that you have saved that particular number.if not then save to contact and then block that number.
After trying this first solution check whether your problem is solved or not . If it is not then move to the second solution.
If Filtered Unknown Sender is Enabled it helps to filter the message from people who aren’t on your contact list. That you get any message from an unknown person. It will eliminate that message and it will add it to the address book. Let’s see how to do that.
First, launch Settings on your iPhone.
And scroll down the screen and tap on messages you will see an unknown and spam option at the below, select that one then enable the filter unknown Sender.
So these two solutions help you to get rid of your problem. If not, follow the simple suggestion.
So, first check whether that particular number is blocked in all the categories like phone calls and messages and facetime, because you might have blocked that number in phone call and might have forgot to block that number in messages. If not then block that phone number in all the categories. So let’s see how to do that.
First, you have to go to Settings.
Scroll down and tap on the iPhone option and you can see a blocked contacts at the below, choose that one if you blocked someone and check whether you have blocked that number in facetime and messages. Do ho back to that screen.
And tap on messages and again select blocked contacts.
And go back to facetime and check again in blocked contacts and you have to check whether you have blocked this number in all the categories.
If it is not then what you have to do is add a new option and then you have to select the particular contact and add it to the block list.
