8 steps to Fix Group Face Time Not Working on iPhone after iOS 14 Update

Solution 1 : Restart your iPhone

  1. On iPhone. X and later, hold down the side button and either volume up/down button until slide to power off screen appears. On iPhone 8 and later, hold down the side button until slide to power off screen appears.
  2. Drag the slide to power off slider to turn off your iPhone.
  3. To turn on your iPhone hold down the side button until the apple logo appears.

Solution 2 : Check the restrictions for FaceTime

  1. Launch settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down to “ screen time” and tap it.
  3. Tap “ content & privacy restrictions” .
  4. Enter your screen time passcode.
  5. Tap “ allowed apps” .
  6. Make sure that “FaceTime”  and  “ camera” are turned  on.

Solution 3 : Set “ date and time” to automatic

  1. Launch settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down to “ general” and tap it.
  3. Scroll down to “ date and time” and tap it.
  4. Turn on “set automatically”.
  5. Then force close apps.

Now check whether Group FaceTime is working or not.

Solution 4 : Turn on FaceTime

  1. Launch settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down to “ FaceTime” and tap it.
  3. Make sure that “ FaceTime” is turned on.

Solution 5 : Check your internet connection

  1. If you are using WiFi, make sure that your WiFi connection is good and speed . Over WiFi, FaceTime needs broadband connection.
  2. If you are using FaceTime over cellular data, make sure that cellular data is turned on for FaceTime.
  3. First, launch settings app on your iPhone.
  4. Tap “ cellular”.
  5. Scroll down to FaceTime and make sure that it is turned on.

Solution 6 : Reset network settings

  1. Open settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down to “ general” and tap it.
  3. Scroll down to “ reset” and tap it.
  4. Tap “ reset network settings” .
  5. Enter your passcode .
  6. Select “ reset network settings” to pop-up box to conform.
  7. Wait until the process is finished.
  8. Then connect your iPhone to internet and check whether Group FaceTime is working or not.

Solution 7 : Reset all settings

  1. Open settings app.
  2. Scroll down to “ general” and tap it.
  3. Scroll down to “ reset” and tap it.
  4. Tap “reset all settings” .
  5. Enter your passcode and screen time passcode .
  6. Select “ reset all settings” in the pop-up box .
  7. Again select “ reset all settings” in the pop up-box to conform .
  8. Wait until your iPhone restarts .
  9. Then connect your iPhone to the internet and check whether Group FaceTime is working or not.

Solution 8 : Update our iPhone

  1. First, connect your iPhone to WiFi.
  2. Open settings app.
  3. Scroll down to “ general” and tap it.
  4. Tap “ software update” .
  5. Tap “ download and install” if update is available.
  6. Wait until the downloading process is finished .
  7. Once the download finishes , tap “ install now”.
