MacBook progress Bar Stuck at 100 Percentage

If your MacBook progress bar stuck at 100 percentage and doesn’t boot up with cataina or Mojave operating system then by following few methods you can easily make this MacBook progress bar stuck at 100 starts booting up normally and work properly and there are several different methods to fix these errors like force restating MacBook, reset pram/nvram reset smc/ restarting MacBook in safe mode and etc, so let’s see in detail how to fix these errors.

MacBook progress bar stuck at 100 Percentage:

Force Restart MacBook to fix MacBook progress bar stuck at 100

Step 1: Press and Hold power button until your mac turns off.

Note: if you are using touch id then hold touch id for few seconds to trigger power reset

Step 2: Now disconnect all external cable connectors like external hard drives, pen drives, printers etc.

Step 3: Now press  power button to turn on your MacBook.

That’s it, your MacBook progress bar stuck at 100 percentage will start booting up again perfectly without any issues.

Reset PRAM/NVRAM to fix MacBook progress bar stuck at 100 %:

Step 1: Turn off your MacBook and turn it on Again.

Step 2: After pressing power button (turn on button) Immediately press and hold down the following key combination : Option+Command+P+R Keys simultaneously.

Step 3: Release the keys once your MacBook logo shows up on your screen and wait for your macbook to restart.

Now after resetting Pram and NVram your MacBook logo will not stuck at 100 percentage loading bar and the issue of MacBook progress bar stuck at 100 will be fixed.

Reset SMC to Fix MacBook progress bar stuck at 100:

Step 1: Turn off your MacBook and turn on your MacBook.

Step 2: After pressing turn on button on your MacBook then immediately hold down shift+control+option key combination.

Step 3: After 10 seconds let go keys and turn on your MacBook.

Restart your MacBook in Safe Mode to fix MacBook progress bar stuck at 100

Step 1: Turn on your MacBook and hold down shift key.

Step 2: Hold down shift key until you see login screen of your MacBook and release shift key once you see login window.

Note: Don’t let go shift key when you see apple logo.

Step 3: Now login to your MacBook to enter safe mode,  for security reasons, it will ask to enter password twice.

Step 4: Now go to apple menu->Restart and wait until your MacBook restarts and turns on.

Now once you restart your MacBook will not show MacBook progress bar stuck at 100 percentage and boots up normally.

Restart Your MacBook in macOS Recovery Mode:

Step 1: Turn off and turn on your MacBook and press and hold Command+R keys on your MacBook keyboard.

Step 2: Let go off these keys when you see apple logo on your screen.

Step 3: Now macOS utilities window will appear on your MacBook with 4 options.

Step 4: Now click the apple menu on the upper left corner and select restart.

Step 5: Once your MacBook gets restart you will not see MacBook progress bar stuck at 100 percentage and will boot up normally.
