When one sees the the Big bang portrayed in a movie it is all a big band and it means a lot of sound with the name a Big Bang. But often over looked is the big bang is not just an explosion that happened at some moment in time at some point of in space.
It was not just an explosion of material in to an empty universe that was waiting to be filled or stretched to be with explosion. It was the explosion of space and time into existence to begin with.
Before the Big bang there was nothing literally nothing and black void of space is something so is time. They asked what’s before the big bang and what’s before there is time really a meaningless question to ask and likewise where the big bang occurred. Because there is no space.
